A complete performance
The U19s produced their finest display of the season on Sunday, chasing down the Berkeley Colts’ total with eight overs to spare. Opener Jay Doshi anchored the innings with a composed half-century, while left-arm spinner Alfie Marsh claimed four wickets to rip through the middle order.
The academy pathway working
Seven of Sunday’s XI have come through the Larkspur junior programme from under-11 level — the clearest sign yet that the academy rebuild is bearing fruit. “These boys train together, school together, and now they win together,” said coach Daniel Mensah.
Semi-final details
Larkspur travel to face the Marin Academy on Sunday week, with the winners meeting either Tiburon or San Rafael in the final at Larkspur Oval. Supporters are encouraged to make the trip — the team bus leaves the Oval at 9:00.
